We are offering two unique Dinner Experiences during our high season.   

Dinner in the Rainforest – Magical evening with a four course meal set in the national park followed by a night nature walk. 5:30PM-9PM  $89pp (adults)/$59 pp (child ages 5-17) *

Farm to Table Sunset Dinner -Farm visit followed by a sunset meal highlighting locally produced ingredients (cheeses, fruits, vegetables).  We embrace the use of local ingredients that may not be commonly used in your home country! 5:30PM-7:30PM  $55pp

We book on a first come/first serve basis and are limited to 12 participants per activity. Please book 1 week in advance. 

How does this work? 

We can only host one dinner at a time (either Farm to Table or Rainforest). We schedule a dinner based on what is reserved first (up to one week in advance)  And accept additional guests up to 12.  If you want to add on as a participant to an existing dinner, 24 hour notice is requested.

Join us for a magical evening: 5:30PM-9:00PM, RESERVATIONS REQUIRED.  We travel by 4×4 to the region of Alto de Piedra overlooking Santa Fe National Park.  Prior to your arrival, we’ve set up our outdoor dining area with a covered area in case of rain.   We enjoy an outdoor four course dinner set in the rainforest, then go for a naturalist led, night time excursion to spot night time amphibians, birds, insects and snakes.

Participants should wear long pants, expect to get muddy, and be aware that rain does not cancel.

Cost:  $89 per adult/ $59 per child

Departure Point: Coffee Mountain Inn, front terrace.

On booking, participants will select main course: chicken/vegetarian and accompanying beverages.  There is a slight surcharge for wine (+$5/per person).

Please note, this activity is only offered during high season, December 15 – April 30, and not during Christmas, New Years or Easter. Seats are limited.

The night tour is only for those aged 5+ and those physically able to walk 1km. Those unable to meet these requirements will be transported back to the inn after dinner.

Explore coffee and food with us: 5:00PM-7:30PM.  We travel  to the outskirts of the town of Santa Fe, where we will find a 5 ha coffee plantation we manage on the hills overlooking Santa Fe.  Celestino (usually) will provide a short half-hour guided farm tour which will include both the coffee as well as other plants and fruit growing on the farm.

Shortly after 6PM, we will serve a family style dinner in an outdoor rancho.  The multi-course meal will highlight locally grown and fresh ingredients.  Vegetarians, please let us know ahead of time, so we plan enough meatless dishes.

If you have a preference for a private table, please let us know. The farm is large, and we are happy to accomodate you, but will need to put up a shelter in case of rain.  Wine is available for a $5 surcharge/person.

We arrive back at the inn at 7:30PM.
